This family of machines can use the SC2 controller or a GA-1060 (updated KR-7016) embedded board. The SC2 is a tower computer system mounted on the rear side of the copier. The embedded board is installed inside the copier. If the network connection plugs into a box on the rear of the copier, then it is a SC2. If the network or parallel cable plugs into a plate flush with the copier rear cover, then it is a embedded board.

GA-1060 (CD Ver. 3.1)

The embedded board firmware must be at Ver 1.48 or higher to be compatible with these drivers.
To check firmware level, please obtain the 'Setting List' by the following steps:
1. Press the 'PRINTER/NETWORK' button on the copier panel.
2. On the LCD Display, under the 'ON/OFF' tab select 'OFF Line'.
3. Under the 'UTILITY' tab select 'Test Printing'.
4. Select 'Setting List'.

SC-2 (CD Ver. 2.22)

The SC-2 Controller Software must be at Ver 2.2.5.6 or higher to be compatible with these printer drivers.
To check firmware level, please obtain the 'SC-2 Configuration Page' by the following steps:
1. Press the 'PRINTER/NETWORK' button on the copier panel.
2. On the LCD Display, under the 'PRINT' tab select 'TEST PAGES'.
3. Select 'CONFIG PAGE'.
